An Integrative Path to Healing, Intimacy, and Relational Health

Her approach is inherently collaborative, moving away from rigid protocols to meet you exactly where you are. As a published author and experienced clinical supervisor, she understands that healing is not just about resolving symptoms, but about reclaiming the capacity for amazement, playfulness, and choice. In her sessions, validation is a core component of treatment, ensuring that you feel seen and understood as you navigate the intricacies of your unique history and the possibilities of your future.

Crafting Your Path to Integration: The Therapeutic Journey

Demystifying the therapy process is the first step toward reducing anxiety and building a foundation of trust. Olvido’s approach is inherently collaborative, moving away from rigid protocols to ensure the journey remains a safe, non-judgmental sanctuary where you can move at your own pace . Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time or looking for a more nuanced perspective on deep-seated relational patterns, the process is designed to be transparent, flexible, and centered entirely on your comfort.

The First Meeting: In our initial session, your comfort is the priority; we can move slowly to demystify the process or dive straight into what you need to vent. I am very open to hearing what has—or hasn’t—worked for you in the past so that we avoid repeating unhelpful approaches.

Deep Assessment: We define the rhythm of therapy together, whether you prefer structured, realistic objectives or a more open, pressured-free space for self-discovery. This flexible approach ensures that the process remains sustainable and aligned with your personal needs in the moment.

Integrative Healing & Growth: Using frameworks like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work, we explore different emotions and protective strategies to integrate conflicting desires. When words are not enough, we can incorporate Art Therapy to process experiences that feel too overwhelming for verbal expression.

Why I Became a Therapist

The Science of Empathy

My inspiration to enter this field came from witnessing how many people suffer in silence with parts of themselves they feel are “too much” for the light. I was driven by a deep curiosity about why certain forms of suffering remained unaddressed in traditional therapy and a commitment to finding innovative, holistic tools that could truly help people “unstick” themselves from painful relational dynamics. My greatest fulfillment comes from the moment a client feels truly understood—when their experience is named with precision, and things finally start to make sense.
