Program Overview

This structured, short-term therapeutic program is designed to support individuals experiencing sexual difficulties primarily driven by anxiety. Anxiety can interfere with arousal, reduce pleasure, and create ongoing cycles of tension, self-monitoring, and performance pressure.

Across six focused sessions, the program integrates Mindfulness-based interventions to regulate the nervous system with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. The goal is to restore a calmer, more confident, and more connected experience of sexuality.

Who This Program Is For

This program is recommended for individuals experiencing:

  • Sexual performance anxiety

  • Erectile dysfunction (psychogenic)

  • Premature ejaculation

  • Genito-pelvic pain / penetration disorder

  • Hypoactive sexual desire disorder

This program is appropriate for clients who have already ruled out hormonal or physiological causes.

If uncertainty exists, clients may book a single initial session to assess whether the concern may have a physiological component and to explore the need for collaboration with another healthcare specialist.

Program Structure

  • Session 1: Comprehensive assessment, active listening, and goal setting

  • Sessions 2–3: Psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, and initial somatic awareness

  • Sessions 4–5: Practical embodied exercises, communication skills, and progress tracking

  • Session 6: Integration, relapse prevention, and long-term maintenance plan

Expected Outcomes

By the end of the program, clients can expect to:

  • Understand the relationship between anxiety and sexual functioning

  • Learn and apply actionable Mindfulness and CBT-based strategies

  • Improve intimacy, emotional regulation, and body awareness

  • Develop confidence in managing future challenges

  • Gain clarity on potential next steps for continued support, if needed
