Program Overview
Thrive Together™ is an affirming, research-informed program designed to support LGBTQ+ parents and families. This program provides practical guidance and emotional support to navigate the unique challenges of LGBTQ+ parenting, focusing on communication, resilience, social navigation, and fostering healthy identity development in children and parents alike.
Through evidence-based strategies and compassionate guidance, participants develop skills to create safe, supportive, and thriving family environments.
Program Structure
Session 1 – Foundations of LGBTQ+ Parenting:
Explore LGBTQ+ identity, parenting frameworks, and myths or misconceptions about LGBTQ+ families.
Session 2 – Communication, Attachment & Emotional Safety:
Learn effective communication strategies, active listening, and ways to promote emotional safety for children and partners.
Session 3 – Navigating Social Systems & External Challenges:
Gain tools to handle societal pressures, school systems, healthcare, and other external challenges.
Session 4 – Identity, Empowerment & Long-Term Support:
Develop strategies for fostering identity development, resilience, and sustainable family support practices.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants will:
Understand LGBTQ+ identity, sexual orientation, and cultural or social dynamics
Gain practical tools to communicate effectively, actively listen, and create emotional safety
Build confidence in navigating parenting challenges unique to LGBTQ+ families

All sessions are delivered personally by the main expert.
As a Clinical Psychologist and Sexologist, services are available within Ecuador.
As a Sex Counsellor, guidance can be provided worldwide, supporting LGBTQ+ parents across different countries and contexts.
