This 8-session group program provides a safe, inclusive space to reflect on how gender identity and social norms influence physical and emotional health. Guided by Miren Itxaso Otsoa’s background in Political Science and Gender studies, participants explore health inequalities through collective dialogue and case study analysis. By the end of this journey, your group will have developed a deeper understanding of health disparities and acquired shared tools to promote equity and self-care in your daily lives.

The group follows a structured path designed for collective reflection and practical application:
Phase 1: Foundations & Collective Goals (Sessions 1–2): Introduction to the program and the core concepts of gender applied to health, followed by a shared assessment to define group goals.
Phase 2: Identifying Disparities (Sessions 3–4): Education on how gender impacts physical health, access to care, and emotional well-being using case studies for group analysis.
Phase 3: Social Determinants (Sessions 5–6): Analyzing the social factors of health and participating in group exercises to apply these concepts to daily life.
Phase 4: Future Equity Planning (Sessions 7–8): Integrating learned concepts and planning future collective actions to promote self-care and health equity.
