Beyond Words: A Path to Embodied Healing

My journey into sexology was sparked by a deeply personal question: how do we understand the stories our bodies tell? As an international adoptee, I learned firsthand that our histories are not just held in our minds, but are intricately woven into our physical selves. This realization became my compass, guiding me to train as a Dance & Movement Therapist and later, a Sexologist, to bridge the gap between talking about our feelings and truly feeling them.

In my practice, we honor the body as a source of profound wisdom. While traditional therapy often focuses on the narrative of the mind, we gently turn our attention to the unspoken language of physical sensations, tensions, and desires. I guide clients in listening to this language, helping to translate the subtle cues of the body into a source of clarity, connection, and freedom. This is where true healing begins—when we learn to trust our bodies, release stored trauma, and reclaim our authentic, erotic selves with confidence.

The Journey Back to Yourself

Our work together is a collaborative process designed to go beyond just talking, allowing you to access the deep wisdom stored within your physical self. My role is to act as a guide and translator, helping you listen to your body's story, heal past wounds, and build a more authentic and pleasurable connection—first with yourself, and then with others.

A Foundation of Safety:
Our journey begins by creating a foundation of profound safety and trust. In our initial sessions, my focus is on a fully present and intuitive listening. This creates a safe container where you can share your story and feel genuinely seen and heard, allowing us to collaboratively map out a path for your healing.

Connecting Mind & Movement:
This is where we gently explore the link between your thoughts and physical sensations. Using tools from Dance & Movement Therapy, CBT, and Somatic Experiencing, we’ll uncover how your life experiences—including racialized or sexualized trauma—are held in your body. We will work to “translate” these physical disconnects into a new language of understanding and self-awareness.

Integrating Your Whole Self:
In this final stage, we integrate your new insights into your daily life and relationships. We focus on releasing old patterns, healing disconnects, and finding new pathways to pleasure, intimacy, and authentic expression. The goal is for you to leave our work feeling a renewed sense of clarity, confidence, and freedom to express who you truly are.

Reconnecting to Your Full, Erotic Self

When we're disconnected from our bodies, we're also disconnected from our desires and erotic selves.

Trauma-Informed Sex Therapy

I provide specialized care for those navigating the intersections of racialized and sexualized trauma. My work is a safe space to process how these experiences are held in the body, helping you gently release old wounds, heal from disconnection, and reclaim your fundamental right to pleasure and safety.

Individual Sexual Wellness

This is for individuals who feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected from their sexual selves. We work together to overcome performance anxiety or anorgasmia (difficulty with orgasm), explore new pathways to pleasure, and help you reconnect with your authentic desires with confidence and curiosity.

Couples & Relational Healing

I act as an empathetic translator for couples. We work through common challenges like mismatched desire, shifting dynamics after becoming parents, infidelity, or navigating fantasies. My goal is to help you build a stronger, more intimate connection by learning to truly see and hear one another.

Adoptee & Identity-Specific Care

As an international adoptee, I have a deep, personal understanding of this rarely explored area. I offer a specialized focus for international adoptees, non-white clients, and those in mixed or polyamorous relationships, providing a space where your unique experiences with identity, race, and intimacy are seen and understood.

A Deeper Connection

Healing Identity, Body & Trauma

My approach is different. I integrate Dance & Movement Therapy with Clinical Sexology, a path born from my own journey as an international adoptee. I specialize in the deep and often unspoken intersections of racialized trauma, sexualized trauma, and identity. If you have felt that your full story—mind, body, and cultural history—hasn’t been truly seen, then my practice is the safe, expert space you’ve been looking for.
